This article is especially helpful if there will be a standard note that your company wants to send out to your crew when they look at their jobs for the day. A good example for this would be to remind the crew to fill out important information on each property.
Before starting, make sure you have made a complete backup and check to make sure everyone is out of CLIP.
Click the link below if you need steps on how to backup CLIP:
Left click "Files", hover over "Global Replacement", and left click on "Replace Information."
Left click to select the "Job Data Base", and then left click "Choose Field."
Double click the "JB. On Hold?" field to select it.
Left click "Replace With."
In the box, type the note that you want to replace the job's route sheet notes with.
Check "Append Notes" if you want to add the note to the existing note instead of just replacing the existing note.
Left click "Choose Condition", and then double click "JB.Job Number."
Now you need to decide what job numbers you want to change.
If you want to change all jobs to make sure everyone job has the same note, select "Is Greater Than" on step 2 and enter "0" on step 3.
If you want to make all jobs from 0-100, select "Is Less Than" on step 2 and enter "100" on step 3.
In the example shown, I am putting the note onto all jobs. When you have made your selection, click "Use This Condition."
Click "Perform Replacement."
Once it is finished, CLIP will show how many replacements it made at the top right of the screen.
