This article will detail how to change the colors on the customer and job fields. This will allow you to create a customized version that you can use to remind your staff which fields need to be filled out in CLIP.

On the customer screen, we have an example above where the Property Name, Address, City, State/Zip and Credit Limit fields are in blue and the Billing Name field is in green.

In the example above, the jobs tab has the job category, crew number, routing sequence, and the charge per hour fields in blue.

The job area is in green and the Min and Max fields are in red.

The example above shows the job schedule tab, the next visit, crew number, and call ahead fields in blue. The countdown field is in red.

In order to create customized field colors, make sure you are logged in as the level one user. To make sure you are logged into the level one user, click System>Passwords>then Set Passwords.

If you click "Set Passwords" and nothing happens, you are not the level one user.

This screen will show who is logged in and who the level one user is. After verifying that the level one user is logged in, click "Return."

Click "Files" and then "File Maintenance." You can also click the "Customer List" button on the main screen.

Open up a customers fields that you would like to add a color to.

Click the "Color Changing Icon" towards the bottom right of the screen. Click on a field that you want to change colors on.

CLIP will then prompt you to choose a color.

From here, choose a color and click "OK" when finished.
The field will now display the color that you chose.
