Tracking How Your Customers Find You

Tracking where your CLIPitc customers came from or how they found you for marketing reports.

Clearly, one of the best ways to grow a company is through effective marketing.

Sometimes it is hard to really nail down what is "effective" for your company. But with CLIPitc source tracking, you will be able to pull reports on how customers came to your company. This way you can know in confidence how to market to new customers.

Here are few simple steps for using this feature in CLIPitc.

The most important process of customer source tracking is to ask your customer how they heard of you and then enter that info into CLIP. The following steps will show you how

Under a customer detail, click on the source drop down.

In that drop down, you will notice we have pre-loaded a few options. You can add as many as you like by clicking the "Add New" and entering it there.

Enter the new source here.

Now after some time of entering this info on new customers as they come in, you will then have some data to pull from. To fetch the customer source report, click on the Reports tab.

Then select "Source Report" from "Customer Reports".

From there, you will be able to pick what date range you want to look at and which source brought you the most customers. You can even put in the dollar amount you have made from those customers.
