If you or your company is currently using the CLIP Desktop version of CLIP -- it is an old version that will be sunsetted by the end of the year. This means that we will not be able to offer support on it after January 1, 2018.

Software gets old and in software years desktop is ancient.  The changes that Microsoft makes to Windows as well as the anti-virus software and other systems that you use on your computer, are becoming incompatible with CLIP Desktop.  
We want you to continue using CLIP without problems and interruptions and that necessitates an upgrade on your part.

You have two options:

  1. CLIPxe - this would be an upgrade to your current program with newer technology built in.  It would be similar to the desktop version in that you install it, manage your own updates, backups, etc...  You would have access to using CLIP2Go to track your crews and give them a way to record their times on their phones or tablets.  There are many upgrades in this program to what you currently have and we are sure you will be pleased with the additional power and functionality. 
  2. CLIPitc - We can take your current data from the desktop and push it up to the "Cloud."  This is CLIPitc - completely in the cloud.  What that means to you is that you no longer have to maintain a network, a LAN, backups, updates, problems with your setup, anti-virus, etc..... All of your data is available from any device that can access the internet  (computer, laptop, tablet, iPhone, Android....). You have access to your CLIP from anywhere in the world if you have an internet connection.  

Both of these programs are a subscription-based price.  You have no more commitment than one month at a time.  The pricing varies based on the size of your company and the number of employees who will be accessing it.  Please see our website for the current pricing: www.clip.com.
