Even though CLIPitc can be accessed from any location with a data connection, doesn't mean you have to use it that way. If you prefer, you can print out paper route sheets to give to your crews from CLIPitc.

This manual will cover the simple steps you'll need to take to get your daily route sheets printed.

A route sheet is dependent on you having jobs scheduled in CLIPitc. If you have not assigned customers any services in CLIPitc yet, please see our Scheduling Jobs manual.

If you're looking for the differences between each route sheet that we offer, you may click these links to view each version of the route sheet:

Route Sheet - The standard sheet. It gives you the standard information and fields.
Enhanced - Has the bonus of breaking down man hours by crewmembers.
Abbreviated - Truncated information for just the basics.
With Materials - For jobs that have materials, you want to make your crews aware of.
Plain Paper Invoice - For leaving at the location that your customer can remit payment.
8999 Service Invoice - Prints Legal size, with sections for tearaways. Customers get the bottom two sections, you keep the top one section.
8999 Service Invoice with Text - As above, though with descriptive text. Prints Legal size, with sections for tearaways. Customers get the bottom two sections, you keep the top one section.

The first thing you will need to do is make sure you have some work ready to be done today. To do that, go to the "Daily" tab and then click on "Get Work."  If you've already refreshed your work bank for the time period you're concerned with, skip ahead to step 5.

Get Work Will have CLIPitc go through all of your customers and their schedules to see who is due for a service. It does this by checking on the last visit date and the intervals you have setup under their jobs schedule info.

Once you are there, under "Work Refreshed For" select the date you would want to print route sheets for and then click "Get Work."

After clicking "Get Work," you will be given a list of jobs that are due to be done on the date selected.

Now we can print our route sheets for today. To do that, go to the "Daily" tab and click on "Print Route Sheet"

You should now see a screen like this with your route sheet options:

Let's just go over quickly what these options mean.

The first one will be some parameters you can use so you can print selectively by date, crew number, or both!

The next option we will look at is the "Route Sheet Layout". There are four different options that come with CLIPitc. Take a look at them and see which one works best for you.

On the left side you will see a few check boxes labeled Phone Number, Next Visit and Route Number. This is just some additional info you can add to the route sheet if you like by checking off the desired info.

Print Options is somewhat of a route sheet layout option. "Detail" gives the crew leader some additional recording options for the crew such as start and stop times, as well as distance, traveled between jobs. This is the most commonly used "Print Option." However, if you do not need that detail you can use the "Summary." This will only print the list of jobs to be done that day. This option is handy if you want to hand out less paper to your crews.

Sort Options is the order in which you want the jobs to be printed out onto your route sheets.
